'Security in an Age of Transition'.

This two-day symposium, attended by leading thinkers in the global governance and security field, hosted by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, brought together scholars and policy experts on issues of strategic significance. The symposium examined the progress that has been made against some of the challenges we can expect through the first half of the 21st century. Participants brought  their diverse areas of expertise and perspectives as aprt of an on-going exploration of cooperative approaches to solving common problems. the symposium considered and debated a range of conceptual, policy and institutional changesas well as potential drawbacks and roadblocks.
